Fishing in Vallée de l'Isle

Certified fishing routes
on the Isle River

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler, whether you want to learn how to fish or spend a pleasant day with family or friends by the water, the certified routes are located on well-equipped sites, with detailed information on the fish populations present, and are easily identifiable by their colourful logos.

What is a certified course ?

These are fishing sites that meet specific national criteria, particularly in terms of equipment, allowing anglers to fish in the best conditions according to their expectations. There are three types of fishing routes :

– the ‘discovery’ trails : they are designed for beginners who want to discover or learn about fishing in conditions that are accessible and safe, with maximum assurance of success on their first attempt.

Would you like to discover fishing in the best possible conditions ? The ‘discovery’ trails meet the requirements for welcoming groups (shelter, toilets and water supply, shared and secure fishing area, picnic area, games, etc.) and are subject to specific regulations.

– the ‘family’ trails : do you enjoy fishing with family or friends ? Available in various sizes, ‘family’ courses offer conditions similar to ‘discovery’ courses (accessibility, comfort, safety, sanitary facilities) as well as a range of activities for families and groups (children’s games, other leisure activities) and facilities conducive to relaxation (picnic area).

– the ‘passion’ courses : however, they are intended for experienced anglers specialising in specific types of fishing (salmonids, carp, predators, etc.).

Are you a keen, experienced angler and/or specialise in a particular fishing technique ? Then the ‘passion’ routes are for you ! These routes are interesting for their high-quality fish stocks and fishing conditions, as well as their management and population. Depending on their location, they offer accessibility, parking, fishing piers, boat launch ramps.
