Domaine Eygas Vivas
Céline, a passionate truffle grower, cultivates tuber melanosporum, also known as the "black diamond of Périgord", a famous fungus that lives in symbiosis with a tree and grows underground. Her truffle farm, made up exclusively of holm and pubescent oaks, is nestled in the pretty Salembre valley. His farm is on a human scale, enabling him to give the truffle trees all the care they need without the use of chemicals.
Harvesting takes place from late November to late February. Domaine Eygas Vivas offers its fresh truffles for sale in the on-site boutique, at Périgord markets and to restaurateurs.
