In Ménesplet, stained glass artist Sylvia Lim, a graduate of the Centre International du Vitrail de Chartres, opens the doors of her workshop to the fascinating world of glass.
Fascinated by this luminous material, she creates and restores stained glass using a variety of artisanal techniques: lead setting, the Tiffany method, glass painting, fusing and sandblasting. She works with both industrial and hand-crafted glass, textured, plain or translucent, giving rise to unique creations. Her work is often inspired by Asian cultures, which feed her artistic imagination. Curious and always on the lookout for new experiments, she is constantly exploring the multiple possibilities offered by glass.
Sylvia Lim also offers training courses in traditional stained glass, as well as workshops for children.
