Château de Fratteau
Inscribed "Picturesque and historical site of Dordogne", this fortified noble lair is an old fortress dismantled at the Revolution.
Survey of its ruins over the past 35 years by the owner, passionate ceramist, the site retains charm and authenticity.
It lets visitors discover the unusual underground refuge (with unique access in Périgord), opening on rooms furnished in the spirit of Périgord of the past, as well as on temporary exhibition areas.
To discover also: the pottery workshop as well as the decorative or utilitarian ceramics, elaborated on the spot from the clay quarry and the wood kilns of the site.

Guided tours, duration 1 hour.
From September to June: preferably by appointment.
From 1srt of July to 31rst of August : open from 10 am to 12 and from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Prices : 7 € / adult - 3.50 € / child.
