Moulin de La Veyssière
A water mill dating back to the 16th century, the Moulin de la Veyssière is the last working oil mill in the Vern Valley at Neuvic sur l’Isle. Jacques Elias bought the mill in 1857 and for 165 years, the history, passion and know-how have been passed down from generation to generation. We produce traditional oils and flours with character: walnut, hazelnut, almond and peanut. A real living heritage, a place for living and sharing, a visit to the mill will take you on a journey through history and gastronomy. Enhance your discovery of the mill with a museum area and an educational orchard. Enjoy a gourmet meal in our shaded picnic area. At the end of your visit, you’ll be offered a tasting session. Discover our gourmet shop in the mill’s old bakery.
